Kathryn Parsons

I am a visual artist and maker exploring themes of place, nature and histories, including habitat restoration and belonging.

I choose materials that best convey each story, researching my projects through walking, photography, reading and conversation.

Fascinated by human relationships to the land and nature, I seek to deepen our sense of connectedness by uncovering and sharing its true stories; re-storying the land.

I create artworks for exhibitions, projects and commissions that weave together these rich layers of research and meaning, inviting greater awareness and care for biodiversity and environmental issues.

Based in North-West Cambridgeshire, I’m an Artist In Residence with Langdyke Countryside Trust, and member of the GroundWork Network.
