Kathryn Parsons

Kathryn is a mixed-media artist and visual story-teller. From porcelain plants to shoes made of sugar, she creates exquisitely crafted sculptures that weave together the tales of places, people and the natural world.

Much of Kathryn's work is site-specific, responding to the history and details of a location, whether a museum collection, historic building or the corner of a field where a poet once trod. She has exhibited at The Victoria & Albert Museum, The National Centre for Craft & Design, Burghley House, Derby Museum and John Clare Cottage Museum.

Kathryn is the Associate Artist with the John Clare Trust.
