Kathryn Parsons
Kathryn Parsons
artist and visual story-teller
I create artworks that tell little-known stories of nature and place.
My work is research-based, driven by curiosity and a life-long delight in making.
Working with museums, historic locations, wildlife charities and community organisations, I create artworks that tell their true tales and celebrate their work. I select materials and techniques that best share the story, often creating subtle site-specific interventions.
I also run gentle creative workshops inspired by nature and local histories.
I’m based on the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fens, UK, where I’m Artist In Residence with Langdyke Countryside Trust.
